ABOUT ME |
One is an item, two a pair and three a
collection!
So goes the collector's mantra! |
I found my first piece of Heintz Art Metal
about 20 years ago in my father’s
belongings.. It was a six-inch card plate.
The words STERLING and BRONZE suggested
value and quality. I was fascinated and
wanted to know exactly what I had.... whose
mysterious mark was the diamond enclosing
the conjoined letters HAMS? |
Soon, nosing around thrift shops and flea
markets, I turned up a vase. Later a
friendly antiques dealer, sensing my
enthusiasm, put me in touch with a pioneer
collector. |
Encouraged by antiques dealers, I began to buy, sell
and trade about 20 years ago. I haven’t stopped
since. |
